Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll may have a career in tennis if basketball doesn't work out.

Okay, maybe not.  But it was still fun to see him show off some skills against tennis professional Jack Sock.

The two got together as part of the BBT Atlanta Open's opening ceremones Monday at Atlantic Station.  The annual tournament, featuring many of the world's best tennis players, usually includes a Hawks player at opening ceremonies playing against a pro.  

Carroll and Sock squared off in a tennis match and also competed in a basketball shooting contest.  Both admitted there was potential for the other in the opposite sport, but as you can see from the video above, both should probably stick to their respective games.

The Hawks presented Sock with a customzied jersey before the 2014 Wimbledon Doubles Champion takes the clay this week to compete.
